*Conditioning*
Keeping your sporting dog conditioned and exercised is an important factor in the success of your hunting season. With the proper conditioning, training, nutrition, and care, your dog should be like a fine tuned athlete at hunting season. In addition to keeping our dogs legged up and physically fit by ground working, we have found swimming not only keeps them in great physical condition but minimizes wear and tear on legs and joints in addition to sharpening their water retrieving skills.
Conditioning of your dog, especially bird dogs is a major factor if you plan on successfully hunting different areas around the country. I know from experience you could and will face significant differences in not only the terrain but in changing weather conditions as you travel to various hunting locations. We have hauled and hunted our dogs through out the country and they have been conditioned to have the drive and endurance to handle it under most all conditions.
Contact us if we can be of service to you and your dog for your upcoming hunting season.
*Hunting Montana*
In addition to our string of hunting dogs, we will be taking some started young dogs for a few of our clients to Montana during the 2010 bird season. To find out more, or if you would like to book your own upland bird hunt in Montana with us, see the hunts page or go to
Central Montana Outfitters.
